Ricardo is CFO, a role in which he has led the company's financial activities to facilitate the strategic plans that have allowed the transition towards renewable and environmentally sustainable energy sources. Among its key actions are the establishment of a risk management framework, investment in new technologies, communication with investors, as well as the leadership of the entire finance team in Argentina, Chile and Colombia.

With more than a decade in AES Chile, his experience and knowledge of the energy market has allowed him to contribute beyond his area, to also advise on the business planning of the transformative process that the company is promoting.

Ricardo is a Commercial Engineer with a mention in Business Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Later he completed an MBA at the University of Chile and Tulane University. He also attended the Finance Leadership Program at the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia.
